Art of the American Soldier: Why paint military scenes in the age of photography?

The U.S. Army commissions a painter to record life in the military, through an artists' eyes. Hear from the current U.S. army artist, and the curator of the Army's massive art collection -- some of which will be on public display for the first time in "Art of the American Soldier," September 24 -- January 11, 2011 at the National Constitution Center. This video was shot inside the Pentagon in June 2010.
