Arsen - Live - I Wanna Make Time With You - Rockin' D.C.

The final song from my band's appearance on the "Rockin' D.C. television program on October 1,1988. The show was filmed at the Dome Nightclub in Washington D.C. It was hosted by Diana Stagnato, a singer and talent agent and Cerphe Colwell a legendary local DJ whose current show can be heard at:

This is a short piece of a song called "I Wanna Make Time With You" which they used while the credits rolled. The song was written by Eric Scott and appears on the 1989 album HI POWERED LUV.

I hope it's in the not too distant future! I'm sure you could find some other Kansas fans and put together a tribute band or something... Like "The Palers Project" with Procol Harum.

I hear them calling! They're saying "Ricky, please open us up and put us together again!" I just went to my buddies house tonight and sat behind a real kit (Mid 70's Ludwig) for the first time in over 20 years! Very rusty but not horribly so. Actually kind of encouraging! This will happen sometime in the future. I don't know about a reunion but I will play again.

I must be honest, I didn't hear it the first time! But the second time around, I noticed! You guys should seriously consider playing together again... I know those Tama drums are begging you to play them every time you open the garage door...

That was it Michael! Those 4 songs from a TV show. Unless someone surfaces with something none of us knew about. There weren't a whole lot of video cameras around back then. Too expensive!

Thanks Anton! Did you hear the soundman punch that stinger on the floor toms just after the solo? Too bad all the toms weren't cranked considering I didn't give them too much of a workout on this show! Gary(the guitarist) still plays in a band but I don't think they play out much.
