Project Manager and Business Development Strategist
I am a competitive collaborator. My lineage is deeply rooted with entrepreneurial spirit, insights, and business successes.
My basic training was Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, with a specialization in machine design. I pursued a career in the automotive industry with first job being with Magna International. As a "product engineer" I developed products for seating and door systems. Over the years I have worked in North America and Asia developing products and improving manufacturing processes and have earned a career-long reputation for eliciting customer loyalty by building products to specification and target price. These years included relationships with industry power houses such as Magna International, Rockwell International, Bertrand Faure, P&P China Automotive, and Linamar.
Managing projects has been a mandatory part of engineering in my career. But what I found over the years was an opportunity to improve on the methodologies used by many organizations. With that in mind I pursued formal Project Management training and in 2005 earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University through CDI Corporate Training. Subsequently, I earned the project management professional designation, PMP. I have created training material that was approved for curriculum at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario.
Since 2005 I have been involved with business development for start-ups, new technology launches, electricity markets, and renewable energy development consulting.
