Eydie Gormé is an American singer who still performs with husband Steve Lawrence, whom she married in 1957. She began her career in 1950, performing with Tommy Tucker and Tex Beneke, and released her first recordings the same year. Her last record to hit the charts was Blame It On The Bossa Nova in 1963. Her biggest selling album was a collection of songs in Spanish with the Mexican group Trio Los Panchos in 1964. The selection Sabor A Mi from the album with Trio Los Panchos has become her signature song. This song is also from the same album, which has been re-released several times in both the U. S. and throughout Latin, Central and South America.

  • I lost my mom on July 1 2011. Her and my father listened to this all the time on his stereo/short wave radio. It brings back memories that bring back tears. I really know how songs can tug at heart strings.

  • I remember my mom singing this song to my dad at their 25 anniversary,,,

  • This is the song my mother woke me up to every morning through out my childhood. She is 92 years old now and the table has turned. I now sing it to her every morning.

  • @lobojose1 love, love, love, ( .love sweet love) it was born from me, i was born from you, from the hope, love love it was born from god for the two of us it was born from the heart. To feel that your kisses nested in me, like pigeons, messengers of light, to know that my kisses stayed within you, making on your lips the sign of the cross. Love, love, love ( love sweet love) ... and it repeats again... so lovely!!!
