This is what is considered to be MOR music as played on CKNW, the station for old fogies.

The '80's DID have some awesome music, which, as it does all the time, is being remade now...Songs I grew up with, thinking they were new, were songs my mother had copies of on 45's and on albums. THIS song, though, has not been covered...some songs just cannot be remade by ANYONE and have justice done to them...Anyone want to cover songs like "Total Eclipse of the Heart", "Don't You Forget About Me", ANY Journey...ANY Foreigner...why? Because they were DONE when they were made. Timeless.

Summer of 1987 just kicked so much ass.

This song reminds me of my trip to Cali, that year - this song was literally on the radio every 30 minutes. Listening to the radio in our rental car, while we drove around Carmel to go shopping.
