Point Park University's Academic Village, an ambitious, multi-year plan to transform its campus and the surrounding downtown Pittsburgh community, is one step closer to fruition. With the opening of its Village Park, an urban oasis built on the site of a former surface parking lot and gas station on the corner of Wood St. and the Blvd. of the Allies, students as well as downtown employees and residents now have a new, beautiful green space to enjoy. President of the University, Paul Hennigan recently sat down with Bill to discuss how the community came together to make this project a reality and next steps for the Academic Village initiative.
