Josh Resnick, a 4th degree black belt in Judo, shows wicombatsports.com a armbar when the opponent is turtled. See more techniques at WICOMBATSPORTS.COM
It's a very effective armlock, its well demonstated and well explained ,the only problem i see with the demo is when completing the roll you attack the wrong leg as it should be the far leg which twists his body and stops your opponent from wrapping his legs around your body ; if you pull the nearest leg you just seperate his legs this is what happens, other than the leg problem, great demo
@HordeLegends so your definition of somebody who is good, a "master" is a blackbelt? wow, low standards. i guess i achieved that when I was 16. My definition would be much loftier; somebody who is world reknown. but, anybody who is world reknown in the legitimate Judo world would really shy away from a term as egotistical as "master. world and olympic champions dont call themselves masters. even the instructors at the Kodokan would shy away from that. you just proved yourself a tool.
@resnick66 You need to brush up on your English buddy. A master in this case is someone who wields supreme knowledge and commands something. In this case, Judo. So a JUDO MASTER would be someone who is very good, somebody who has a black belt. I suggest you pick a dictionary :)
@resnick66 I love Judo and I love BJJ, but you are just a fat douche sitting in front of your computer claiming to know Judo. If you were a real Judo master you would not post retarded comments on YouTube. Before you respond to me, try not to drop your burger.
@hollasta629 he didnt created the move you clown as everyone has told you and theres nothing amazing about it,its used in sambo, judo, bjj and every sub grappling system known to man.Bravo certainly came up with some good set ups and even new controls, but this isnt 1 of them
@hollasta629 youve got to be a novice if you think that turnover wasnt being used in judo before eddie was even born along with the spiderweb control, the russians when they began their assault on judo comps popularised it due to its frequent use in sambo but im sure the newaza specialists in japan wee using it before then also.I saw that exact sequence in a judo book just before i started bjj 15 yrs ago.The book was published in the 70s
hollasta629 - Its a good technique! Eddie Bravo openly refers to his 10th planet BJJ as a system allowing the use of "tricks" he has learnt. He says so himself, the moves already exist. He has found tricks that allow transistion and to expand on the position before submission principle!
@hollasta629 wow. you are as ignorant and uneducated as most moron bjj huggers. i'd put my skill up against any of your "idols" and be pretty comfy. remember what happened when Bravo tangled with the Camarillo brothers? ouch, i know that hurt.
