This is why Rugby Union is the greatest game in the world. It's exciting, fast, aggressive and demands many skills, intelligence and courage. Different body shapes are suitable for different positions. 1, 2 and 3 are short and heavy, 4 and 5 are extremely tall (6' 8"), 7 and 8 are big but faster. 1 to 8 are the 'pack' and use their strength and weight. 9 to 15 are known as the 'girls' and need to be quick, elusive and work best in open play.

  • i was a mad football fan, used to love it but in the last few months ive gone off it completely and i love the passion and commitment of Rugby and its always entertaining never any boring matches

  • @wainy2895 Same here. I rarely watch football and it is EVERYWHERE. It all seems so lightweight and fake since I fell in love with the titanic power, skill and genuine dignity of Rugby and its awesome players.

  • @ritchloui its very rare you see a rugby player come off the pitch that hasnt given absoloutley everything to help his team mate, footballers are overpaid and lazy and think they are all that matters, rugbys just the better sport and i know what ill be watching more often from now on

  • what an awesome match.

  • Great support play! Excellent team work, that's what rugby is all about!
