Chris Langham had a gross mustache then. I'm glad he didn't have it when he did the Muppet Show as a guest.

It's hard to imagine how complex the puppetry on this show was, but I think some of the later shows like Fraggle Rock and Dinosaurs were a lot more complex than this!
