  • @ssgiddyup My fiddle teacher was in the top 3 at the Grand Nationals last Oct. Has won Galax the last 4 years, etc. Vandalia in WV too many times to count, etc. He is only 24 . He might know a little . Maybe not ?

  • @jablankens I think your teacher doesn't know what he/she's talking about. Most fiddle players I know LOVE waltzes!

  • Agree too fast, this is a waltz.....although a lot of fiddle players have trouble with the waltz.....I am a lousy fiddle player ...but I seem to do well on waltz's ....I am not congratulating myself...but started playing trumpet in 4th grade ...later in life played piano..so when I starte asking for waltz's my fiddle teacher said , lots of fiddle players had problems have waltz's because of timing...to me it just seemed natural

  • Wrong guitar chord at 0:27, may be wrong in the book. Also, too fast. If you listen to the original with James Galway, you would hear the best version. Still, very pleasant, good job.
