God and beauty are exclusive, as is god and reality. beauty is not merely a measure of aesthetic value; it is awareness. it is self discovery. it is nature. it is human bonds. it is unrelated to fictional coping mechanisms. (god). but i guess blind faith in an all knowing higher power is beautiful. but its not. it is delusion. it is brain chemistry. god is chemicals and delusions of spirituality is the manifestation of said chemicals. beauty is knowledge. it is acceptance of mortality.

@falang78 Thanks for your opinion. Just in case you thought so, I never claimed or implied that beauty was "merely aesthetic value." The video was too short to go into the topic in much depth, but obviously beauty is more than physical - there are different types of beauty, but my belief (which I hope came through in the video) was that beauty comes from God - it's no accident. That doesn't mean just physical beauty, but things like Love, Kindness, Joy, Peace - etc. (continued..)

@falang78 As for your comments about God and "blind faith"... that is a debate for another time, place and video. I once thought like you (though not to that extreme) and later my eyes opened. I sincerely hope that you will eventually wake up and realize that life is more than just what you see, it's more than the material or chemical. I guarantee you that once you do, your world will change in a big way, and your true life will begin from that day forward.

God is a cop out. God is a coping mechanism. Beauty is acceptance of nature and defiance of organized religion. Beauty is when knowledge and logic overcomes faith (aka indoctrination). You speak of love, kindness, and joy - those are states of beauty. But not products of god; they are the descriptors of the mind's capability; its output. They are traits of sentience. They are humanity.
