This video demonstrates that activating or disabling display auto rotation on the Nexus S with ICS 4.0.3 has a huge impact on cpu load.
A test on a Galaxy Nexus with ICS 4.0.1 shows a very similar behaviour.
Explanation of the upper right values:
- first value: 1min cpu load average
- second value: 5min cpu load average
- third value: 15min cpu load average
