moral dilemas

this was inspired by my Human Development teacher in the topic of talking about morals and the dilemas that they sometimes bring post video responses, or comments. choose one or the other OR do both, which ever you feel you want to respond to. This is just to get you thinking and to show everyone that when you leave religion behind, we really are all the same, and even with religion, that there are still morals and even sometimes the same morals between differing religions.

i deal with the same shit every one knows that i love god but cuz i have no religion and i study this beautiful art im evil or i serve satan and all that bull shit, any way. joe is just as bad as tom cuz they both had the same hate and since he let her die its still as cold and as much of a murder as toms even if unlike tom joe did not put the poison in. same outcome from the same hate.

case 1 both are murderers and will be tried as murderers.

in the second scenario with the captain, it was based on a true tail that happened, and he was found innocent of murder. As for the first, I agree, that either way you look at it, it's murder and the inaction is just as bad as the act itself. Thanks for the comment ^_^

if i were the captain and a true one i would sacrifice myself to save the others lives. Some may think this crazy but i find it a right way to die.

in the first scenario, i think both people should be traied. in the second one, i do not think that the captain was wrong in selecting people to go overboard in order to keep them all from dying. though i wouldve saved women and children, and if it was a boat of all men, i would either have them draw straws or ask for volenteers. I would judge the captian not guilty.

by law i think the man with the antidote is comiting an act of depraved indiferece or maybe hes ignoring a good sumeritan law, ether way i think the first guys would be sharing a cozy little cell somewere. the next one is alot harder. my thing is its not for me to deside who lives or dies, but im not sure i would do the noble thing and jump to my death... isn the captin suposed to go down with the ship??
