The Anti Barbie Movement

I am so sick of the media portraying Barbie clones like Britney Spears. I am an activist who promotes a healthy body image for girls all around the world. I wrote this poem when I was 15. I am in the process of self publishing. Remember: It is illegal to plaigarize or copy this work and others.

So.... We should aim to become morbidly obese, develop over ONE HUNDRED related diseases TO obesity and accept a miserable existance of not being able to climb ONE set of stairs and proclaim that as unaccepatble. Here's an example of why fat women suck: I was on the elevator the other day and three morbidly obese women came one. Then a old man came on the next floor. Once he left they bitched about he should have used the stairs instead. When in reality they are the ones who should have. Irony.

i totally agree with your anti- corporate image message 100%.but just hear me out on this one. while your giving the finger to that media barbie image,your giving into the other side of the media by eating the junk food and stuff like that that they promote.and ultimately, it is their goal to make u overweight. i feel if you wanted to truly be anti-corporate media, you would become a raw vegan or vegetarian.that way you say "FU" to the media while simultaniously not sabatoging your well-being

Who would want to buy makeup or clothes advertised on an overweight or acne ridden model?? I agree that there is too much focus on unhealthy ideals in this society, but I think we've got to be realistic too. You just sound more bitter then logical here. No offense.

We need to fight narcissism in girls and women. The media encourages women to focus on themselves rather than being concerned about others.

its not cool how this little toy causes so much drama an make ppl shallow, im so for ur anti barbie these sterio types are put down by a man who wishes all were like this. again not cool it makes ppl feel in small not in a size way, i guess i cant really complain since i meet the social image standerds but i can still see the affects it has on our society..Keep the message alive..
