Falling Again Episode 18

We sat there in silence for god knows how long, his warm breath brushing against my neck as he held me tightly in his arms, The way I felt now, right this moment was undeniable, I felt safe... for the first time in years, all my worries were being pushed aside and the feeling of love was taking its place. He Put his hand under my chin and brought my face up so I had no other choice but to look at him. He stared into my eyes for a moment.
'What's happened sel?'
I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out, Why should I tell him? even after the way he made me feel. He's been ignoring me for 4 years and now suddenly this? I wasn't as easy to forgive as Demi, she was so trusting, But I had been hurt to much to be led astray by a few sorry words.
I scrambled up, bushing the dirt of my jeans, I stared at his confused face, wishing that I could forgive him, wishing that things would just go back to normal, just like that. But I couldn't let myself be hurt anymore. I turned and started to run. There was still two hours left of school but I didn't care. I ran out of the school gate hoping that nobody would see me. I ran and ran...... until I came to a stop panting for breath. It wasn't until I had sat down heavily on the floor that I realized where I had ran to........

The rest of the day went by quickly, it only felt like a few minutes before the end of school bell was ringing in my ears. I jumped up and stuffed my things into my bag and was out the door before anybody had even realized what was happening. I went to the front gates to see Joe waiting for me there. I grinned to myself and started walking towards him.
'Hey there.' He smiled as I came within earshot.
'Hey' I said kissing him gently on the cheek. I looked up to see him frowning at me.
'What?'
'I Haven't seen you for the whole day and that's all I get?'
I laughed and took his hand.
We walked in silence, just enjoying the walk until we got to Joe's house where we saw nick pacing up and down in the front garden, a worried expression on his face.
When he saw us he ran over.
'Guys, have you seen selena?'
'No why' I said panic beginning to rise in my chest.
'She's run away.'
