@eder90001 In the movie, he used the surgical procedure trachaectomy. Under the vocal cords, make a 1/2 inch incision, and stick a tube or use a ball point pen to breathe. You can survive much longer like this when the normal breathing methods dont work; if done correctly, bleeding is minimal. But he had to be careful not to puncture artieries of course.
