Daniel Lee, writer and director of "Journeyman" and "Gilgamesh," discusses his films, as well as issues of myth and storytelling, at a conference dedicated to the Book of Job, held at Santa Clara University on May 21, 2005.

His fellow panelists are filmmaker Mark Larson and dancer Kristin Kusanovich, the panel is moderated by David Pleins.

  • Or read the bible. Evil is either a repercussion on a collective scale (people of Israel, old testament), or an example of what would happen if people collectively would disobey God's rules. New testament mentions it in the case of someone being disabled from his birth on. The only question arising from the bible is: why whom? I's like evil spreads within a group, and as if we have ALL OF US to be righteous to prevent evil from occurring in a group anywhere. We humans are a group, and connected.
