Great formula. For me, it's: 1. Reishi mushroom 2. Poria mushroom 3. Goji berries 4. Schizandra berries 5. White Atractylodes 6. Licorice root 7. Asparagus root 8. Astragalus 9. Gynostemma 10: Chinese White Ginseng I cook all herbs for one hour, except for goji, schizandra, gynostemma, and astparagus. The gynostemma, goji, and schizandra I cook in a separate pot for only 30 min and I add in the asparagus for the last 10 minutes of boiling the other herbs.

Does Reishi decoct well in only 30 minutes? I read where there is kiten in Reishi and it's very woody, similar to Chaga and other polypores. Thanks so much.

The $18K tea mix is:
1. Reishi mushroom: Ling Zhi
2. Schizandra berries: Wu Wei Zi
3. Lycium, Goji berries: Gou Qi Zi
4. Atractylodes, White: Bai Zhu
5. Spirit Poria: Bao Mu or Fu Shen Spirit
6. Licorice root: Gan Cao
7. Rehmannia: shu di-huang
8. Asparagus root: Tian Men Dong
Take 1 handfull each (slightly smaller for the licorice) - add to cooking pot, bring to boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Drain and drink. Herbs can be reused another 3 times.
