I get so many other human beings from all kinds of beurocratic affiliations impinging on my sovereignty because of the Ron Paul bumper sticker I have on my car. I continue to wish them peace, joy and wellness.

We went to the UN to ralley support and allies, to make clear our intentions and to be diplomatic. How nations "felt" about it was not the deciding factor in our justification. This was in large part a big F YOU to the UN and nations within it that are supporters and enablers of such tyranny.

The fight for freedom, US interests, and mostly humanity will never end so long as there are tyrants like Saddam. Asking where our part "ends" is a deflection of why we have a part at all. Diplomacy should be tried, as it was with Saddam, before talking about "taking down" anyone.

Weapons that violated operational distance were found.UN planes were there to enforce the no fly zone and to monitor sanctions. The Gulf war (1990) never ended, Saddam was sent home and told to behave. Sanctions were only hurting his people while fattening pockets. Simply put, after 10 years of diplomacy there had to be proven substance to our talks.

Well, Smyth, Russia is working on its military. They even came over to show us. Putin sent some fighters to fly by the Alaskan coast.
