A Tribute to Georgian Military

Georgia, a country of five million people at the east coast of the Black Sea, has a long military history.

The Byzantines described the Georgians as 'the people who always look for fame' and some of the famous Georgian military commanders were Vakhtang Gorgasali, David the Builder, George V the Brilliant, George VII, Erekle II, Peter Bagrationi, Colonel Cholokashvili, etc.

Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Jacques de Vitry wrote in 1080: "There is also in the East another Christian people, who are very warlike and valiant in battle, being strong in body and powerful in the countless numbers of their warriors. They are much dreaded by their enemies and often by their invasions done great damage to the Persians, Medes and Assyrians on whose borders they dwell, being surrounded by infidel nations. They are called Georgians, because they especially revere and worship Saint George, whom they make their patron and standard-bearer in their fight with the infidels, and they honour him above all other saints. Whenever they come on pilgrimage to the Lord's Sepulchre, they march in the Holy City with banners displayed, without paying tribute to anyone." Over the centuries Georgians fought to preserve their homeland and many of them died on the battlefield, and their martyrdom shines forth the noblest qualities of Georgian people.

Since 1991, Georgia emerged as an independent state after the 70 years of Soviet Occupation and the country wishes to join the NATO.

Грузия - страна Неуловимых Джо.Что поймать не могут? Да нет,просто на хуй никому не нужны.заебали строить из себя римских легионеров.Ходят с флагом перед строем как скауты гребаные.Танцуют задорно, а воюют гавно.Уместили взвод в колонну по 2 на 20 шагов. Как раз на одну смачную очередь из ПК от бойца-первогодка спецназа ГРУ))) олухи.вам бы иракские деревни патрулировать и пытать там безоружных крестьян,а не с россиянами воевать.даже нижнее белье (футболки) - америкканский неликвид и секондхэнд.
