i have setup many bays and it wasn't the drivers fault but the store and contractors who built that system. that was some bad engineering, that is why you always have to anchor down the uprights to the floor and put safety bolts/cariage bolts on all beams. if i was that forklift driver i would have sued for putting me in unsafe and hazardous work conditions.

That guy's fight-or-flight response is incredible. He moved in just the nick of time. He would have been gone after this incident.

Its not because its cheap labor....its because the racking isnt solid at all...the guy was doing this right I know because I use lift truck at my job (caterpillar) and sometime we doing the same thing that this guy doing...but the racking dont collapse ont the floor....trust me i dont what im talking about.

to me, it seems like he is just trying to take a shortcut hence why he is forcing his way through a gap obviously too small, in his defense though, half of the blame goes to the management for violating safety not having the racks bolted tight to the floor... i hope staff did a strike after this.. unbelievable

@BobbyAndroid I agree but 50 percent is kinda rough, If the haulways werent so cluttered with shit it would have never happen...so in my opinion he should be fired for that...
