@daillis ...you obviously don't know what you are talking about... there are thousands of strains of mj and in every strain there are different phenotypes that make plants of the same strain slightly different.. to say that if it has purple leaves then it must have purple bud is retarded

I'm surprised no one has suggested a phosphorus deficiency/salt buildup as the cause for the purple stipes. That, alongside, slowed growth is one of the main indicators of such a condition.

@CousinlT ... It's the genetics of this phenotype. She purples every time. Start to turn around 7th week and by the 10th week its solid purple.
