America's Polo Cup Highlights from 2008-2009 featuring Tareq & Michaele Salahi

To help answer the question "who are these people," this video and photo montage features the now infamous couple known as the White House dinner crashers... Tareq and Michaele Salahi. Tareq and Michaele founded the America's Polo Cup to raise money for their charity, Journey for the Cure.

Because Michaele was diagnosed with MS, Journey for the Cure is passionate about finding a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Tareq and Michaele are widely known in the Washington, DC area and seem to know everyone and anyone of wealth or prestige. One word to describe them is tenacious. Yet they are incredibly down to earth...especially Michaele. People who know her or have been around her can say how loving she is, and how she continually expresses her appreciation, even as evidenced by this video. (yes...you will also see us jammin' to Journey...but I had to lower the volume for our joint lack of singing ability....)

I had the opportunity to attend and cover the America's Polo Cup events in 2008 and 2009. Both years, the event unfortunately was hampered by too much rain the few days prior. However, the games went on.

The entertainment was top notch... with Vittorio Grigolo and Huey Lewis & the News being at the 2008 event, and Michael Johns and Mya at the 2009 event.

They know how to put on a party; attract the crowds; and to make things happen.

Watch the whole video (I know it's long) ... but you will gain valuable insight into this couple.

Just finished listening to all their (Salahi's) lies elaborated about this event.. It is so obvious they are a "pair" con-artist - in it together to scam donations. While they were filing for bankruptcy, they were flaunting their ill gotten weatlh. "We have been always big on charity" yeah, they donated few thousand dollars for "these charity that's clost to heart". I've donated more than these two to charities and I don't even run a charity event.Oy, they make me sick.
