the thing is alot of this stuff isnt availible on canons of the same range, and alot of the stuff in the canon menus have buttons or button combination on the d300 body.
Play with both for over a month and im sure you will understand I have fortunatly i know alot of photographers...most shoot canon :S it sucks i cant share their glass...haha unless i steal their cameras

You're wrong jani. He's not talking about RECORDING at 30fps, he's saying PLAYBACK at 30 fps. If you record at 1 fps for 1 minute, you will have 60 frames. This is 2 seconds of playback at 30fps. But you've still taken life off your shutter.
Help pls..i cannot click on Timer Interval shooting as its not active-not highlighted...Whats wrong with my camera..pls help me

@sarojhbl Ensure you are in single-shot shooting mode. I can't recall what else causes that, and I don't have my camera handy. There are some camera functions that disable other functions. There is nothing wrong with your camera. Try changing continuous focus / shooting to single, etc.

thats one thing i hate about NIKON, is when you let your screen go for like 5 seconds because your looking at something then it shuts off! and then you have to go back into it..ahahhah...so annoying..why cant they make options to make it longer! lmao
im picking one of these up real soon! cant wait

Actually the LCD-sleep timer is configurable in most nikons, even the point and shoots. I just didn't bother to change mine.

Did you mention this method in any of your subsequent videos ?

No I didn't, I thought it was obvious enough. It's under Custom Settings -> Timers -> Menu Off Delay; item C4.
