@oxman0313 yes it does seem to be distressed I think your earlier comment about the oxygen levels is right on the money it doesn't seem to be doing well at all.

@metaempiricist I had been without sleep for 36 hours when i wrote that. I see my mistake. They are not fish and do not have gills though they do not need to come to the surface to breath at that stage. I have had 2 hours sleep since then and now the brain is back. My second part of my comment is factually solid though. It is a fish in distress.

@oxman0313 tadpoles have lungs no scales and no gills after 2 weeks no they are not fish at any point of their lives things do not go from "its a fish" to "now its an amphibian".

@metaempiricist A tadpole is not an amphibian. It is a baby frog that will become an amphibian. When they are in the tadpole stage they are not considered amphibians but rather raked with fish because they rely solely on water and can not life out of water yet. But this is not a tad pole. This fish is swimming like it is in distress. The water is most likely killing it and is void of oxygen that is why it is swimming at the surface.
