season 9 isn't scrubs in my eyes

@Wh1tewulf Understandable. While I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first eight seasons, it probably would have been much better as a spin-off rather than season 9. Even Bill Lawrence wanted it to be Scrubs: Med School season 1 rather than Scrubs season 9. Ah well, at least they tried to keep the show alive - not all can endure such huge character changes.

@Wh1tewulf It wasn't supposed to be. It was supposed to be a SPINOFF, but the network wasn't having any of that. It shows in the opening. Where it says Med School on the x ray

@Liberum69 I have two issues with the show: even as a bridge, it shouldn't have had JD voicing anything over, his story is done. And second, most of the new main characters are completely unlikeable afaic.

You people are the reason this show was cancelled, and it was amazing. You're judging it because they didn't call it something else?? Are you insane? The ending to J.D.'s chapter was brilliant and it was a truly great ending to his story. Nobody should give a flying fuck if they called it Scrubs. This season was just as funny as the rest of the series. If it's xenophobia, that sucks for you, but now you made it suck for me. I would've loved to see these characters again and again and again.

. . .and neither did they. Ray Romano went out with style and class by not being bought by the network, but rather signing off on the show with dignity, knowing that a lot of American families loved and had a connection to the show. It's a lot better than watching a show go down in flames. It's too bad that Lawrence didn't do the same for his fans.
