No More Mr. Nice Gay

The Chicago chapter of the National Join the Impact protests against Proposition 8 and our tolerance of bigotry any longer.

I wish we all did this every day until we attained the equality we deserve. Seriously. I strongly believe that Prop 8 was a blessing in disguise in waking this country up to how lazy and apathetic we've become to being treated like second-class citizens. Marriage equality should be a National issue, and it is right now. And, frankly, this goes far beyond an issue of marriage. I hope everyone who cares about Civil Rights is doing everything they can to not only stand on the right side of history, but be a part of it. Loudly. Every day.
