  • Nice! But could you do a video about how you transition from b&w into colour?

  • This was so good x.x and its awesome to see really great artist, like yourself, helping aspiring and talented artist, like the person that drew the original pic., and actually giving them visual advice. Its so great, and I love both pictures, good job!

  • Hmm... in the begining of these videos I always think that the drawing is pretty good, but at about 1:30 in, he makes it look like a shit smeared on paper...

  • @gr8k4an I can't speak for Syra, but as a Photoshop user, I know a lot of these shortcuts are already built into the software. To select the brush tool , press the B key. To adjust the size of the brush hit the left bracket button [ to decrease the size or the right bracket button ] to increase the size.

  • @turbonetttt look into color theory. trust me.

  • sycra this is a critique - fell confident and free to say the truth.

  • I'm actually really curious about what keyboard shortcuts you are using in order to quickly go from say... blend tool to brush tool and then being able to quickly adjust your brush size. Or are these all presets you made on your (i'm guessing) Intuos?

  • Looks like shit to me no offense

  • Loved the way he altered his flame :D

  • Thanks for posting these vids. Nice food for thought.

  • @BrofessionaI The chest is supposed to be NEARLY the same colour as the sodding arm! The problem is that it is IN SHADOW while there's light obviously shining onto it!

  • @BrofessionaI First off, firelight isn't that weak; his chest is, like, a couple of feet from the flame. Second, if what you said were true then why is there a highlight at the edge of his chest? That highlight leads the viewer into thinking that the flame's light is coming from the right of the character, when in reality it's coming from in front of him and SLIGHTLY to the right.
