I was a teenager in those years of Gene Pitney's great songs and beautiful voice. I was in love with this damned girl at school and his songs soothed and calmed me, and echoed my feelings.

Gene was the best male singer EVER! With all the songs he recorded, he should have had much more recognition. I'm just glad he made it into the Hall of Fame before his passing.
