And yes it has a mag lock on it which removes in about 5 seconds to make it completely standard,however also illegal in CA.
BUT...as long as its screwed in its perfectly legal.

don't get top loaders those suck, get a stag,cmmg, etc... with a bullet button mag lock

Your Carbine is badass. I live in CA too. I want to buy my rifle before the end of the year and the only CA legal AR15 I found is the Bushmaster Carbon 15 "Top Loader" Carbine. What do you have? I noticed you have a big magazie on there. It looks like it holds way more then the legal 10. I would love to get one like yours. Please let me know thanks.
