Israelis went out of their way to warn civilians to stay away from possible targets – something that had never happened in the history of warfare (compare the Nazis or the British bombing Dresden etc. or the US bombing Japanese cities)> Hamas put fighters and weapons in civilian places. Think.

The fallen of Gaza included over 700 Hamas fighters, by their own admission. The Israelis sent messages, made phone calls, made radio broadcasts for civilians to get out of dangerous areas. Did you know that in Israeli hospitals a badly wounded Hamas terrorist will go to the operating theatre before a less badly hurt Israeli soldier? Some Nazis!
