Soraya has powerful elastic movement and looks just like her dad EH King Arthur who is a stunning black stallion standing at 17 hh and is approved for Trakehners, Oldenburg, Hanover, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and France.
King Arthur was the undisputed champion stallion in Neumünster in 2000 and also became champion at the Danish licensing in 2003.
He passed an outstanding 70 day test in Neustadt/Dosse with the following scores: dressage index 135.38 (resv. champion); jumping index 113.06, total index 130.36 (resv. champion overall).
After multiple wins in young dressage horses classes, he represented Germany at the 2004 FEI World Championships of Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany where he finished 7th. He also placed 6th at the Bundeschampionat of the German dressage horse in 2004.
Petra Wilm, president of the German Trakehner society, purchased King Arthur at auction for 150,000 Euros. At the `Oldenburg Pferdetage`, he was placed 3rd in the intermediare I.
By the age of 7, he won Prix St. Georges classes at various CDIs throughout Europe, all with his owner Petra Wilm, President of the Trakehner Verband, in the saddle.
In 2007, he placed for the first time at international Grand Prixs and has numerous wins under his belt now, from shows in Germany, France, Austria and Poland.
In 2008, King Arthur was named `Elite Stallion` of the Trakehner Verband. King Arthur continued to place at international shows throughout 2009, and in 2010, won the Dressage Prize of Neumünster.
EH King Arthur TSF has high quality offspring, both in hand and under saddle, that make him one of Germany`s most popular stallions. So far, his sons Hidalgo, Georgenberg, and Sir Arthur have been approved in Neumünster, and his Oldenburg son Kilimanscharo was approved with a premium title in Vechta. Many of his daughters were inspected with premium scores, among them the Reserve National Champion mare Kreta II and the best Anglo Trakehner mare of 2006, Inkar`s Tochter. Many of his riding horse get have impressed at various auction sites throughout Germany. In 2008, several of his offspring qualified and placed at the Bundeschampionat, both in the riding horse divisions as well as in the dressage horse classes. This includes the Hanoverian King Size (dam by Don Schufro), and the Trakehner mare Iluna (dam by Langata Express xx). In 2009, his offspring have successfully competed through M and S levels in dressage.
Soraya`s Dam is Holme Grove Skylark a graded mare who was 1st in the Filly Foal Class at the TBF Show 2004 and went on to be Reserve Champion Foal. In 2006 she was 1st in the 2 year old Class and again stood Champion. Her dam the very beautiful premium graded mare Sante Fe was by the famous Stallion Kostolany who is the sire of Gribaldi. Skylark`s sire is Holme Grove Prokofiev who was graded in Alsfield in 1998 with judges comments including a considerable talent for jumping. Very good walk and trot with much power and perfect knee action. Excellent canter. Presents himself with little nerves. Prokofiev`s sire is the Russian TB Stallion Begxx who has retired to Stud in Bavaria after winning money racing on the track showjumping to the equivalent of a Grade A level whilst at the same time winning Grand Prix Dresssage Competitions in Germany.
