  • I really think if the asgard would have been much more powerful than the ancients if they continued on their legacy and did not kill themselves. I really love the Asgard race...

  • In the last episode of sg1 the asgard gave us "everything they have and know". so that must include the memory or storage of all their consiousnes. It might be possible to bring them back if we could find the evil asgard and steal the technology or research they used to stop their genetic breakdown. once we do that we could clone the asgard again download the consiouness and fix their breakdown

  • you know what's funny? in reality they shouldn't have died, cause if they would've screened their DNA, there couldn't appear any genetic deterioration, and like pirated games each working copy will be as good as the first.

  • @johnnydead1 I'm not sure if they made UP the rules, because i've heard from some people that the rules already existed, they just had to follow it. But i still see your point in it, they have the power to end the ori, to end the slavery, but they just wouldn't' do it.

  • @awesomedudemee But it's them who made up this rules. They always ask: "If we interfere, are we better than Ori?" Well, my answer to them is: If you have the power to prevent innocent from suffering, and don't use it just because you chose not to, then obviously you're not much better than Ori. Period.

  • @johnnydead1 Actually, what they are doing is following the rules of ascension. In the ascension planes of existence they aren't supposed to have any contact in the mortal world... nobody seems to understand that

  • @johnnydead1 So yeah, Daniel was once ascended and tried to stop Anubis. But the Ancients helped Anubis. I think assisting someone to destroy the galaxy is a crime against humanity and the Ancients should be punished. I know there's a device called Sangraal which can destroy the stupid race once forever. Anyone?

  • Come on everyone, all this comparing Asgard to Ancients. Ancients are willing to stop someone who's trying to stop the Goa'uld (like when Daniel Jackson tried to stop Anubis when he attacked Abydos). No matter how advanced they are. Their behaviour is just so wrong.

  • @MrFollf Yeah, the Tollan's death caught me by surprise too. After that episode I sat around feeling lost for a few minutes :D

  • @InMooseWeTrust go watch that episode again man. for one that wasnt their planet, it was an ancient outpost lab. two the asgard who captured them escaped, and three the planet wasn't destoryed, they just hyperspaced threw it. plus that was just a few of the evil asgard, there is still a whole civilization of them out there. not tryin to be mean, just sayin lol

  • @dasaxophonist There was an episode of Stargate Atlantis where they found the evil Asgard. John Sheppard's crew blew up their planet after they tried to destroy all the stargates in the Pegasus Galaxy.

  • I never thought I'd cry at a fictional character's death. But the Tollan, most of the Tok'ra, countless free jaffa, the abydonians, and then the Asgard's death just topped it all off. Rest in peace.
