Judging by your comment, I can tell that you have no idea what your talking about. Do you even know what a hard drive is? Please, use punctuation next time, and have some respect for the English language.

Sony has already developed the same thing using led's, but I doubt it will be as good as using a magnetic field, unless that field would be corrupted by changes in the environment. Having to recalibrate every time you fire it up, would suck.

Just because they fight about games doesnt mean they're nerds.
And Nerds is a overrated offensive word, so your probally 10 years old.
-
why do nerds fight about games all the time?

That only proves that it is backwards compatible. That it works with games on the PC that were made before this controller was announced. Are you trying to say that this is the only video on youtube about the sixense controller?
-
it is the same thing. Read the title of the video
hello there.
Can the controllers get "confused" if there are more than one magnetic field? and what if one controller is between the other and the sodasized generator? Can the motions be "customized" (for example imitating aiming how it would be done with an actual weapon), or does they need to be set up by the producer of the game itself?

What is that big cylindrical thing on the coffee table?

Hello noformstyle,
It is Sixense's 1st generation magnetic field generator. The 2nd generation device is much sleeker and is about the size of a 12 ounce soda can. Thanks for the inquiry.
