A sensei I work with was kind enough to take me to legendary Kumamoto Castle in Kumamoto Prefecture of Kyushu Island, Japan (obviously). The video doesn't do justice to how awe inspiring the grounds, turrets, and main castle were.

i love your photographs. and it would be awesome if you could do some high resolution ones so people could use them as backgrounds? been looking for some castle/nature wallpapers from japan and i can`t really find what i`m looking for cept in pictures like yours. so yeah. just a humble request. if you ever happen to remember while doing stuff in japan :)

the photos shouldn't be too bad as a wallpaper so long as your don't stretch them. the longest side is always 800px at 72pdi which shouldn't be so bad on most monitors. at the end of the day, i'm trying to give away stuff people like, but not so high res that I they could reproduce it through print media. aka, i have high res versions of all my photos, but i'm hanging onto them in hopes of someday pursuing my dream of being a full time pro photog/artist.

@tonygaijin About 2 hours by car, 3 by train. It's a great train ride though because it's a beautiful area.
