Capt. Robert Lewis Reacts Poorly to the Name "Enola Gay"

Captain Robert Lewis (Gregory Harrison) confronts Colonel Paul Tibbets (Patrick Duffy) over the naming of the infamous B-29 Superfortress. The real Robert Lewis wanted to name the plane "The Pearl Harbor," "The Avenger" or "The USS Indianapolis." Lewis, in addition to being incensed over the naming of the plane, took great offense at being to moved to the co-pilot's seat before the mission to Hiroshima. Before Tibbets' decision, Lewis had been the primary pilot of the plane. Tibbets and Lewis--who had been friends before these incidents--never spoke to one another again after the war.
