I can believe a 58 on overhead, but on kick it would normally distort. Not sure how you did it, but not a bad job. The Lexicon made a big difference I suppose. And you got some skills young man. ABR is some hard stuff to play, well at my age anyway.

@billboardforbandstv Yeah, 58 don't usually handle high SPLs but I kept it a little further away and kept the mic gain down. That Lexicon is awesome, just wish it had more inputs. Thanks man.

@frenchxtoastx87 look up " Lexicon Omega Audio Interface". I used two microphones. One as an overhead, one for the kick drum.

@dennychaos that sounds really fricken good for 2 mics, can i ask wat kinda overhead u used? cuz it sounds like the whole kit was miced indiv.
