The L.H.C. will not cause a black hole in my opinion; however, I believe it is interfering with the EM field of the Earth and that is why we are experiencing problems with it. We are experiencing earth-quakes around the world like never before and the earth could be cracking like an egg shell.

@Score1ForTheRepublic bwaaaaah get real, and get a education. FAIL.

@Score1ForTheRepublic Did you know, when the train was first invented, people said that if a human being went over 30mph, they would die?
Because your one of those people.

the black holes are so small that they disappear almost instantly. and if one managed to live, it would devour the very tip of a pencil (just the dot) in a year. that's even IF one manages to live, which is impossible.

In any case, the decision to do such a experiment must be decided unanimously by humanity, not a select few individuals trying to play god. Also there may be other problems that we can't foresee with our current understanding of physics. As a species, I do not believe we are ready for such an experiment just yet. Perhaps within 50 years time. Everyone in the 1940s thought atomic bombs were good things that ended wars. Now there slightest mention can start wars overnight. We were lucky then.

gods sake, right a single proton contains the energy of 7 terran electric bolts the energy of a mosquito times hat by 3x 10 to the power of 3 x1x10 to the power fo 14 = 3x10 to the power of 17 times that by 7 terra will equal 21x10 to the power of 18 then times by two because it is a counter beam= 42 to the power of 32 that is 42000000000000000000000000000 mosquitos

End of the world? The Black Holes the LHC generates are the size of quarks, and they are unstable so they disappear quickly, they will not stabilize to destroy earth because even if the earth itself turned into a black hole, it would be the size of a baseball, and it would be unstable, so pretty much the black holes cannot get powerful enough to eat the entire earth.
