Look Avatar will go down in history as a groundbreaking film whether we like it or not, I mean it has made over 730 milion in this country alone as i´m writing so whether that movie is better than this one is irrelevant, no other movie will make this much money, unless of course james makes another film, he is the true king of cinema..

@malows1234 I respect your position, i dont think, that james cameron should be compared to any other director that make more personal movies... Its true that he makes movies for the masses, so the stories he portray are universal.. Thats why people go to the cinemas because they get identified with them. The merits of Cameron its that he always pushes the envelope on special effects, he is an innovator, and several times, his movies change the way hollywood makes movies..

@karanmaxfilms this is funny, because you know that every criticism i made agianst james cameron is the absolute truth, and you can't defend him. that is probably the reason why you find that insulting me by saying i listen to justin beiber is easier for you. thats funny because you bash justin beiber in favor of cameron. when in reality both justin beiber and james cameron are both bubble gum, made for audience to enjoy chewing for a while and spit out. @karanmaxfilms ok lol, i dont know what world your living in, but a lot of people i know dont like james cameron. THERE ARE A LOT of people who begin to hate him as they began to hate titanic. it has a huge group of people who hate it. and the characters in avatar ARE SO SHALLOW. typical badass military guy who is bad to be bad, like billy zane in titanic. its predictable as hell. I KNEW JAKE WOULDN't die, because then ther would be no hollywood happy ending to make sure the box office is high

@karanmaxfilms frankly i dont care if you hate marty scorsese, i have no problem with that. i have a problem with you saying cameron is higher on your list of good filmmakers, because cameron is just terrible.... i mean how much genius does a man need to understand that have kate winslet stand on the boat and yell I'm flying is cheesy? i mean seriously man. those parts of his movies are just embarrasing to watch with someone else. and i think marty is terrence malick league.

@karanmaxfilms wow you know what you shhould do? maybe you should check out dances with wolves or pocahontos, cause thats just about as original as james cameron is. As you say, I too love his films& they are great blockbusters, but from the art perspective, they are horseshit. nuff said. dont bash marty in favor of james cameron, cause its just a joke if you do. I watched Truffaut films, but they dont out do marty's talent. EVER SEEN the last temptation of teh christ? JC can never make that.

@karanmaxfilms wow the classic justin bieber insult, i hope your proud man. and Jake Lamotta is very complex, he is a man who struggles with fear and anger in and out of the ring, but whats complex is how when your watching the movie, martin scorsese never makes a sympathetic character out of him, nor does he let you condone jake lamotta's acts, he puts the audience in a difficult ground where you follow this character and understand him, BUT NEVER forgive him or feel bad for him. thats TALENT.

@karanmaxfilms dude, james cameron is not as complex a filmmaker as scorsese period. anyone can biuld fancy motion capture shit and remake dances with wolves. only a few directors could ever create a character study as deep as raging bull, james cameron certianly can't. scorses is probably the only man in the world who could make a established first person chracter study like taxi driver. i will agree magnolia/there will be blood is better than anything almost any director has done. PTA ROCKS.
