When my daughter Lisa was very little I used to sing this to her before she went to bed. One night I began to sing it and she began to cry because it signaled bedtime and like all little ones she did not want to go to sleep. Lisa is 36 now. I now sing it to my grandaughter age 2 and she tries to sing it. Her name is Carly and she is my son Richard's daughter. He will be 34 on Thursday.

I remember this song from way back when.. when the radio stations went off the air, it was the last song played. then they played the national anthem and planes and cannons went off then you got the sound of a test pattern. good days good times.
