As a RI voter, I can attest that Shelly Whitehouse is a disgrace to our state and the country. He has no business being in Washington. He was sorely defeated in his run for governor of RI and turned to the Senate to find a job. He is a true hatemonger and a lapdog to Obama. He has no concern for the people of RI (or the country) but only for his own agenda (much like his master, Obama). We can only pray for Whitehouse's term to be up soon so he can go back to being just a rich attorney.

I was initially going to delete your post because I do not think it offers anything here other than an expression of your own personal anger. Any chance you can support your contention that Whitehouse is a "hatemonger," a lapdog etc... If you can back up your claims, then your position on Sheldon as a disgrace will be well founded, but until then you just sound like a bitter conservative who's own "lapdog(s)" did not win.

I am certainly not alone in my disdain for Whitehouse and his extreme left politics. I can't think of anything positive he's done since he's been in office and many people nationwide were repulsed by his recent comments comparing the Republicans to Nazis. Delete me if you want. It's your choice.

I am not going to argue that you are unique in your contempt. But it would be great if you backed your statements up. I cannot find where he makes the comparisons you say he does. There are plenty of people interpreting his recent speech one way or another. However, in watching the speech myself, and trolling the web for articles, i cannot come up with anything close to what you are contending.

Sheldon Whitehouse is a former USA (US Attorney - federal prosecutor).  He has put bad people away for a long time. He might not wear a lapel pin, but he is a great senator. He's wicked smart. He doesn't let witnesses get away with BS on his committees.

Hey showing some mutual respect goes a long way. Same reason why I kinda liked (but wouldn't vote for in a million years) even as a very progressive liberal atheist Mike Huckabee. Sadly he has given up most of that good quality character with his gig on Fox news. Meaning he has given up his independent streak in honest personal opinion and comes across more as a typical shill.
