2010 injection well (vertical blue lines that appear near end) and earthquake locations in Faulkner County, Arkansas.
Earthquake locations were compiled by the Arkansas Geological Survey (AGS)
Underground Injection Control well locations obtained from the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission (http://www.aogc.state.ar.us/). Injection wells may or may not have been active during the 2010 timeframe.
@Bustikated Thanks for the post. The intent, as you mention, was to demonstrate animation capability and to simply show the relative position of injection wells to the earthquake epicenters. The preference here is to provide an example of how data can be viewed so that others can make better informed decisions. I hope to post another soon that includes quakes, gas wells, injection wells, and some groundwater wells - without suggesting any relationships, simply showing what is there.

In your description you state the injection wells may or may no have been active during tehe 2010 timeframe. Knowing the completions, dates of injection, volume of injection and injection pressure is very important if you are trying to show/suggest the injection is/may be related to the earthquake activity/fault reactivation. I would be helpful to clarify if you are suggesting a relationship or that you are demonstrating what your software can be used for. Not a complaint, just a comment.
