great vid :) Just wondering cos I'm getting a little confused.. you know the Tricuspid & Mitral valves, are they also called the AV valves? and are the other two also known as the semi-lunar valves?
The Tricuspid Valve an Mitralis Valve (also known as the bicuspid valve) are the Atrioventricular Valves (AV Valves); separating the artria and the ventricles during systole (valves closed)
The semi-lunar valves are the aortic en pulmonic valve, separating the the left ventricle from the aorta and the right ventricle from the arteria pulmonalis during diastole (valves closed) respectively.
