Part 2 of the Story Of Rush. This was a Radio show that used to come over the airways in Detroit. I had it on Cassette Tape and it was sitting in storage for over 25 years. I thought I would share it with my loyal YOUTUBE fans. So sit back and enjoy. This video is to celebrate the release of the DVD "Beyond A Lighted Stage", RUSH's Rocumentary. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • Great stuff on RUSH Joe...Thanks for posting this.. I got into them in 76' when I heard All The World's A Stage at a buddies house..Blew my mind!. I have since had the record, 8-track,.cassette. and 2 or 3 copies of the CD..Early RUSH is still my favorite time for them. They seemed to have taken the best elements of Zep, Sabbath, Heep and Yes, and incorporated them into an amazing alchemy that is yet to be matched by any heavy band...Thanks again for posting this Joe!

    RUSH LIVES FOREVER!!!

  • @MetalheadYA Thanks for the nice comments. Yea Rush is the best. Rush Forever. : ) Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • 9:43 I feel like the song that's playing is something of Hemispheres album. Can anyone tell me what that song is?

  • @Andrewoid95 No actually that song is from Permanent Waves. It's a song called Jacob's Ladder. Hope you enjoyed the rockumentary. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS2112

  • Weird, Neil's voice seems to have lowered at least an octave since the interviews in this clip.

  • @Ullprutt Yea, age we are all going to go through it. Hahaha. Thanks for watching. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

  • @Andrewoid95 jacobs ladder

  • Nice to find others that understand that RUSH is the best band of all time. :)

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Jacob's Ladder's the shit.

  • 3 Gods all together !!

  • This is really cool to listen to.

  • Hey Joe, is there ANY way to get the version of "Bytor and the Snowdog" that appeared on this program, it always made an impression on me because how heavy it was, and Alex "dive bombing" the tremelo at the end is soo damn powerful that makes it the most unique version :D Thanks again for putting this up :). By the way, The line from the Fan about "The 3 ring Circus" is a line I have used to describe them ever since :).

  • @JOEDRUMS2112 Ah yes, thank you! I have most of their discography up 'til Moving Pictures (and Caravan).

And I did enjoy the documentary. Cool stuff!
