We watched this movie in class. Throughout the whole movie everyone was wincing, and most of us cried. It's so awful!

@AKenjiB well it is about the survival, but there were some brilliant scenes that portrayed how shitty the holocaust was. especially the ones with dead children, and this one, which was, as i interpret it, a metaphor for the helplessness of the jews, and the malice of the nazis. the nazis were douchebags no matter what the film was about.

You're joking right. The Pianist is a film about a guy trying to survive during a time when everyone around him was dying. It's not a polittical movie. It's not an anti-german movie. (The Main character is saved by a German soldier). Just because a movie is about the holocaust doesn't make it hollywood jew propoganda.
