    這首歌講的是二戰末期，日本方面大量招募台灣住民投入太平洋戰線­的作為

    當時的宣傳口號裡，關鍵之一便是「皇軍」這個字眼，意味加入日軍­等於效忠天皇，成為日本子民

    很多不被當作真正日本人的台灣年輕人，卻為日本政府殞命

    我想這是在表示這段歷史的悲哀，不是在歌頌皇軍
