Robert. Do yo9urself a favor, get a blade cx and get familiar with all directions and orientations b4 going to the raptor. You will save yourself from going broke and or being admitted to the looney bin from frustration. 6months should do it if you fly 2battery packs a day. Good luck, keep at it you won't be sorry.

Ouch! Try practicing on an RC flight simulator like Pre-flight. 10 hrs should do it!

Nice video Robert, you put together a Raptor video masterpiece! Although, the destruction of the Raptor was too bad.
Don't let one crash get you down, I crashed 3 times, rebuilt, and just started flying 3D with this thing, it's got really good abilities.
All you have to do is be 100% confident in the simulator, fly extreme 3D on the computer, then go to the real thing and just hover, and fly slowly. You'll never crash like that, and you'll really enjoy the Raptor.

Thanks David I am glad you liked the video. I have already repaired the Raptor and it is ready to fly again. Right now I am flying a smaller helicopter to get a little more experience. I will do another video eventually.

Thanks for commenting. I figured out that grass was bad. I bought a smaller helicopter to practice on until I get a little better at it. I have the G2 repaired and ready to fly again, but I am a little scared to try. When I master the smaller one then I will try again. :-) ...Bob
