there great for tight woods that are steep , you don't have to build a very wide road to use them on ,,, they set out trees with their winch really better than they skid ,, next time i go logging , i'm considering just using one to set out , a 648 grapple to skid , and a dozer to stay ahead of it ,,, around here , its very steep, i had a 99 model that was very strong , it would skid about 6-8 20-28 inch diameter trees very well

For the size and hp of the tractor that is a massive skid of logs. I would not work it that hard, but somebody who knows them and runs them, might have a better feel for what it can handle. Nice looking skidder.
