Seriously, with over 850,000 Americans arrested in 2010, on marijuana charges alone, and tens of billions of tax dollars being spent locking up marijuana users, isn't it time to regulate and tax marijuana?

  • We can stop being dependent on foreign oils if we use hemp oil as fuel. And with the taxes the government will collect from it will lower our countries war debts! We are in serious debt and they want to raise taxes?! Fuck that! Educate yourself! The cannabis plant can help us!

  • We can fix the economy if they tax marijuana. We can build better insulated houses even companies with hemp to use less electricity

  • @Gater1337 Taxing and regulating would reduce harm thats the point. Its easier for kids to get marijuana than alcohol because you have to be 21 to purchase it. The billions of dollars going to gang members through the black market to fund killing campaigns would instead be going to local businesses and to taxes. The government could take those spared billions to fund commercial spots on how bad marijuana is.Right next to the one where they show how cool you are when you drink budweiser

  • @CantWeedThis "The government is drowning trying to fight a rushing current that can not be contained." This statement is where you run false, your right about weed being everywhere(which is the part that saddens me), but it might be hard to believe, but it CAN be contained, I also agree that we aren't doing a very good job really at all at stopping the flow of drugs, but instead of completely giving up and saying fuck it lets sell this shit, we need to find other ways of combating it.

  • @Gater1337 Are you aware of the drug war in mexico? Tens of thousands of people dieing from cartels that are fueled by the black market of marijuana. Also innocent people being shot by police officers during "drug" raids of marijuana. Billions of wasted tax dollars to combat marijuana when that money could be used in an infinite number of better ways for society. Marijuana is here to stay. And the government is drowning trying to fight a rushing current that can not be contained.

  • @Gater1337 Where is the proof right now that people are crashing because of marijuana alone and not because of human error or alcohol intoxication?Marijuana isnt known to cause accidents plain and simple but of course i dont advocate driving while under the influence of any substance. Caffeine however is linked to speeding tickets. People tend to drive faster after drinking caffeine, speed is the number one cause of avoidable accidents. Marijuana tends to make people drive slow anyway

  • @CantWeedThis @Organnabis Who do you think that everyone that has tried weed is going to vote for? The guy that's going to legalize it! Its sad because the two people that I'm replying to have no doubt smoked weed. (considering their User-names) Sure, Ron Paul probably will legalize it. What else is he going to do while hes in office? This country is quickly going downhill, it just means that I get to read about a third variable in death tolls related to driving, operating machinery,etc..

  • 2012 will be the 2nd time I didn't vote for Obama.

  • It's impossible to monopolize weed, so it WILL NOT BE LEGALIZED IN OUR LIFETIME! Obama=Uncle Tom

  • @stewcloth1990 and im using the term abuse extremely lightly, because abusing this substance will only make you want junk food and sleep
