Organist Diane Bish plays this piece at Coventry Cathedral in Coventry, England. Filmed during a Joy of Music Tour in the summer of 2002.

Keep in mind... the camera used here was not the best for capturing this kind of sound and video. At the time, I didn't plan on this being posted on Youtube. Had I known, I would have done a better job filming. Nevertheless, it's a great piece and an incredible organ.

  • A Diva in all senses, what's with the hissy fit at the end? Nice performance though and yes the Coventry Harrison is a fabulous instrument!

  • The cameraman next to her accidentally kicked a cord on the ground making a noise during the fading echo of the piece. She had to redo the piece three times because of noises made throughout the recordings.

  • the light is to much

  • I know. I wish I would have stood in a different location to avoid the bright light.

  • WONDERFUL

  • Talk about pipes... Stack em' up high!

  • I LOVE THE TRUMPETS IM A HUGE FAN OF DIAN BISH AND I HOPE MAYBE SHE CAN GIVE ME SOME POINTERS ON THE ORGAN ONE DAY.

  • @Soontobeorganist google search " Dian Bish wedding book" it is in that collection. Its actually what she is reading off of in the video. She used her own book.

  • Diane Bish plays with such perfection and clarity. It thrills my soul to listen to her performances. She a master at the organ.

  • It's also found in her own book "Diane Bish Wedding Organ Book" Or something along those lines--I got it at Amazon.

  • It's called "Trumpet Tune, Called the Cebell" by Henry Purcell. It can be found in a book called 'Trumpet Tunes and Other Ayres' -- arranged for organ by O.H. Peasgood (Novello Publishing). It's still available for purchase.

  • Agreed. I fancy a go at it myself, to be honest.

I suppose it woulnd't be that hard to sit there and work it out, though. I don't like it *that* much though!

  • Wow...that's too bad because I really like this trumpet tune!

  • I *think* this might be one of her own compositions. I certainly can't find it in stock at the usual places.
